Agua fabrics are now FR compliant for curtains
Following new certification, a number of our collections are now FR compliant as curtain fabrics
We’re delighted to announce that, as standard, nearly all of our soft woven collections now meet the contract and commercial FR standard of BS5867 Part 2 Type B for curtains, whilst retaining Crib 5 FR as standard for upholstery. This now means you can now match upholstered furniture with curtains in all commercial environments. We’re really pleased to be able to offer this added flexibility. Our fabrics, which now have dual purpose are as perfect for a bedroom chair, headboard or curtains.
The following collections are now compatible as curtains: Cord, Eden, Juno, Linetta, Nova, Primeira, Sark, Segunda, Tones and Zephyr. The same stock used for both applications, with nothing further needed. Our website will be updated shortly so you can search specifically for curtain as well as upholstery fabric, so that specifiers can combine their favourite Agua soft woven collections throughout a project. This option has long been asked for, and we’re delighted to now be able to offer it. Furthermore, we have done significant drape testing to make sure our fabrics all hang nicely and look just as good for curtains as they do for upholstery.
