Everything we saw at the Cruise Ship Interiors Expo in Miami

Having just returned from Miami we are still processing and digesting what was an excellent week for Agua with lots of leads to follow up on. The cruise industry is absolutely thriving right now with new build and refurbishment projects aplenty. We loved catching up with new friends and old across the two days of the exhibition, along with plenty of meetings before the show started and the subsequent days after.

The cruise interiors community came together in all its power with lots of networking and partying done in Miami over the week. The community is a very tight-knit one, and it’s always fun to reconnect with everyone together at this one point of the year. We also got to introduce our new International Cruise and Marine BDM Amy Collier to everyone, and she loved her first experience of the cruise industry in Miami. She is already planning a visit back to see our customers after the summer holidays.

Our new fabric collections, Oruga, Segunda and Rizada went down incredibly well. The designers appreciated the colours and textures we created, and the sample requests are currently going out from all the leads. We also showed some early R&D samples of the new collections we plan to launch later in 2026, which everyone was really excited about.

The jet lag and tiredness was well worth it. Even though we didn’t get to enjoy the sunshine and heat in Miami, there was a real buzz in the air with the football World Cup due to start, just as we were heading back home to the UK. As always, we loved our time at the expo and we can’t wait to return next year.
