Case Study: Tricorn Cafe by DP Designs
We sat down with DP Designs interior designer Ana Crawley to chat about a recent project in Birmingham

Can you talk me through the project? What was the idea for the project?
Our client, Tricorn Cafe, wanted to turn the existing interior on it’s head and entirely transform the way visitors interpreted the space. In response, we created a welcoming environment, rich in textures and colours, that had the resi feel whilst being capable of meeting the technical requirements of a commercial space.
Why did you choose Agua for the project and what fabrics did you require for the job?
We know Agua creates resilient, high-performance fabrics for a variety of commercial sectors. Unlike some of the competition, Agua's portfolio is also rich in fabrics that feature texture and colour, allowing us to create the ultimate space that fits both the aesthetic and the performance expectations.

What is your experience of working with Agua? How does the team typically help you achieve your goals?
The team at Agua is helpful at keeping us up to date with their new releases and old favourites. They have a great sampling service that helps us create engaging and tactile presentations to our clients and end users.
Would you recommend Agua based on your experience?
Agua is a great partner for commercial projects, bringing a variety of high-performance upholstery solutions to a variety of sectors. When ever working on a project I try to incorporate Agua, if not for their performance, then for the stunning array of colours and textures that their portfolio offers. As designers, we like to share positive experiences of reliable and outstanding businesses within the supply chain, and Agua Fabrics is just that.
